George is 6 months old today!

And growing bigger everyday. George is walking, climbing and hanging all over the place. Since the weather has been cold he spends most of his time inside playing with mom Daisy and his two "aunties" Debbie and Julie. He has been eating some solid foods and sometimes you will find him with a green bean or piece of celery in his mouth (though he doesn't seem to know what to do with food that big yet). While he is still very dependent on Daisy, George will venture away from mom and explore his surroundings, playing with his toys and stuffed animals. George is developmentally right on track and we look forward to watching him become a part of Knoxville Zoo chimp family.
