Growing Up!

Baby George is accomplishing all the milestones for a 2-3 week old. Daisy will pick George up, his hands in her hands or feet, holding him up in front of her. Daisy is getting his muscles ready to support himself while clinging to her. Daisy has also started putting baby George down in front of her and watching him. She will sit him up in front of her and support his back for a moment. Then, she will let go and allow him to attempt the maneuver himself. So far, he hasn't mastered the sitting skill yet. But that's alright, Daisy is doing everything that a good mother chimpanzee should be doing to prep her baby to meet each milestone that lays ahead for him. Who knows what next week will bring!
